re-using your water
July 16th, 2008Nothing interesting to say, here, just wanted to post a link to The Greywater Guerrillas site as now that our yard is filled with pretty flowers, and looks like adults maintain it, I’m thinking about how we could keep it pretty without harming the environment.

Your mother dragged a bucket into the shower with her this morning to try the graywater thing. Despite living in a natural sauna, our greenery is drying out quicker than I can get water on it…so your Mom is going to bucket the plants. I took a bucket in with me, too. After washing the car last week I poured the gallon or two remaining in my bucket on a dry spot on the lawn (the remains of a huge oak are under this spot), to find it turned very green overnight. I’m curious to see what my shower water does in a single spot.
