Let me see...your brother's ear stud lasted until the fear of Eddy the Fireman seeing it caused him to abandon the fad. Its a shame that men can't get away with silky and frilly...but sneakers, denim and tees sure make for a ever-ready wardrobe.

Thanks for nuttin. We'll be paying for all those 75 degree days with some chilly weather this week. Followed it home from Dallas. Wish we could send it back to the NW.

Pick me, pick me! I used to love the emergency project... I had the team that could do that work as fast as anyone and loved the challenge. The 300% markup on the work wasn't a bad incentive.

The idea being that people would be healthier if they used the stairs? What if you made good food taste good? Like kale and green beans...
Then again, how about they just take out the escalators and people could walk up the stairs...no gimmicks needed.
You'd still have to make the kale and green beans taste good...

Sometimes it takes a scientist (doctor, engineer, or chemist) to get things right...for most folks. A well engineered pair of shoes taking several thousand footfalls on a short run, day after day, is definitely gonna be more kind to your body than the uncushioned shock of the bare foot. Run for any period of time in a pair of shoes designed by some dude with a natural theory on feet and you are gonna find yourself crippled in a week. Give em a try...but don't "work through the initial aches" cuz you're gonna work yourself into fractures and knee problems.
My orthopedist looked at my MRIs and said "You used to be a runner, eh?" I will always have the knee pain from running. Good thing you started life as a swimmer and then a cyclist. You can always go back if you don't do too much damage.
